HOW TO GET FULLER EYEBROWS FOR A YOUTHFUL FACE

Just to be clear – we’re not talking about those eyebrows from the 80s. Dark, straight and harsh-looking eyebros are not making a comeback anytime soon. Soft, flattering and fuller eyebrows however have been quite popular among women nowadays. Why? It’s pretty simple. It makes the face look more youthful, as contrast to high, arched and pencil-thin eyebrows.
Ready to jump on this trend? Here are the no-nonsense steps towards fuller eyebrows:
Step #1: Grow out your eyebrows.
It may take time, but in this case patience is the key. Just try to avoid overplucking your eyebrows. Instead, just follow your natural eyebrow shape and get rid of the stray hair at the bottom and at the top of your nose line. You can also look for brow gels and revitalizing serums which are said to help in growing out eyebrows.
Step #2: Gently fill in.
Use pencil to draw soft (take note: soft, not sharp) to outline your brows and using a light hand, gently fill in from the center going outwards.
Step #3: Use a spoolie or an eyebrow brush.
To minimize the harshness, use a spoolie or an eye brow brush to blend your eyebrow makeup. This will make your eyebrows softer and more natural-looking.
Step #4: To add more softness, try an eyebrow powder.
Using a same color as your eyebrow pencil, top your eyebrows with eyebrow powder. But remember to use a light hand on applying!
Step #5: Highlight your brow bones.
To create a look a neater and more polished look, highlight your brow bones. You can use a cream foundation that’s about one shade lighter than your skin tone. After which, apply a highlighter. If you don’t have a highlighter, a white or beige-colored eye shadow will work just fine.
More tips:
- Fuller eyebrows don’t necessarily mean bushy brows. Keep things neat by trimming extra-long eyebrow hair. Use an eyebrow comb and trim the longer ones out of the bunch.
- Do NOT use black eyebrow makeup. It will make you look older instead of a younger look.
- Use a brow gel. If you don’t have time to draw on your eyebrows, you can use an eyebrow gel to tame those unruly hairs that look unflattering for any shape and age.
- Go to an expert. Maintain your eyebrow shape by having once-a-month sessions with an eyebrow threading or grooming salon. You can also have your eyebrows colored to match your hair.

I need a picture of what drawing in your eyebrows look like. And how to choose an eyebrow pencil? How easy is it to smudge (ie. Can I do this and then put on a motorcycle helmet)?
